Webmaster info !!

On Kyoi

Hi there, everyone. I'm Kyoi, the individual behind this site in it's entirety. A few months ago, a friend of mine introduced me to Neocities, and I spent every spare moment I had browsing other people's sites- And, alas, one day was spurred on to make my own. While I know very little about html and have been piecing this site together as I go, I've always had an interest in web design, and the old web in general. This page will be dedicated to more info about me, for those who are interested.

As far as info about me goes - As of now, I'm a tired student with little to no interest in school, who would much rather spend their rotting away in a pretty aquarium than in classes. I like rhythm games, Vocaloid, drawing, and marine biology. Aside from coding, I spend my free time drawing and daydreaming.

More on my interests - If it's not clear enough, I am very much enamored with the ocean and the many little creatures residing in it. My favorite animals are whale sharks and manta rays, but I have special interest in plenty of other sea animals, and have an unreasonable amount of largely useless nowledge about each of said animals stowed away in my mind. Aside from my obsession with marine biology, I also have a special interest for music. Because of this, a solid 70% of the anime I watch tends to fall into the music category (Enstars, Hypmic, Bocchi, etc). While there's no specific genre I stick to (because i'm far too indiceisive to choose just one), a majority of my favorites fall into the Vocaloid category. No, Vocaloid is not it's own genre and Vocaloid songs vary from genre to genre all the time, but I still feel like Vocaloid songs aren't quite the same as typical j-pop, so I categorize it as its own in my mind. Hopefully that's not too confusing. And, yes, I'm into anime! It's been a while since I've had time to sit down and actually watch an anime, and I typically lean more into game fandoms than the shows themselves, but I am heavily inspired by it. It feels odd to say because of how harmful the 'anime fan' steryotype is getting, but I think it's fairly clear based on my artstyle and choice in graphics that I have an affinity for it.

My interests and hobbies tend to jump around pretty often, so this page will most likely be edited fairly often. While I stay somewhat consisten with preferences and genres, my interests will change often- So, I apologize in advance, seeing as I'll probably have to update this page more often because of this. That said, below I'll keep a list of my interests and try to keep it up to date.
